Without a doubt, all the delicious food you've prepared for me has had an abundance of love mixed into it. I sincerely appreciate you and your talent and skill.
I have had many delicious, healthy meals cooked by Melinda. Her joy of cooking comes through in every bite.
When Melinda was in Guatemala last year, we were so lucky to have her in our kitchen. All six of us living in this house are cooks ourselves, and we all benefited from her vast experience and excellent taste, to say nothing of her always surprising creativity, her versatility in the use of ingredients, and her talent for balancing flavors and textures. We were especially impressed with her chicken stock; what anyone would throw away, she converted into an incomparable base for soup, sauce or stew. She taught us the value of butter over margarine, and olive oil above all: not only verbally, but amply demonstrated especially with her delicious stir-fry mushrooms and veggies. For dessert, how can we forget her marvelous apple-blackberry crumble? A total success.

Having lived in New Mexico for a while, I’m no stranger to Green Chile Stew! I was more than pleasantly surprised when Melinda served her very special version. I can honestly say that it was the best I have ever tasted!
Melinda made a butternut squash soup that was simply divine; a simple soup in theory, but with a complexity of flavors that blew me away. A splash of fresh lime on top gave it a brightness that I’ve never experienced. I highly recommend Melinda. It may sound corny but you really can taste the love that she puts into all of her cooking.
I have enjoyed Melinda’s cooking for ten years now, and so appreciate the nourishment and delight that it gives me. She has lovingly prepared food for a variety of settings where I was involved, both professionally (meetings and community events) and personally (gourmet club and social dinners). Melinda's commitment to food as a source of energy to serve us physically, emotionally, and spiritually is evident. She is an artist in her creation of healthy meals, using local food and organic produce as often as possible. A meal cooked by Melinda is always a treat!
Melinda is a superb chef and extremely creative in the kitchen. She supplied our household with healthy meals when we brought home each of our children. Melinda developed menus sensitive to my dietary needs as a lactating mom. We provided her with our weekly Los Poblanos/Skarsgard Farms’ fruits and veggies from which she created delicious and nutritious meals and snacks. We used her services for the first few weeks after the birth of each of our four children and frequently call in for meals now that we have twins under one! Thanks Melinda for amazing food that keeps us eating healthy!
